Description / Interpretation:

Eva Cockcroft, assisted by Agustin Gonzalez, Otoño Luján, and Bill Agee. The theme is the imminent destruction of more wetlands. The mural is divided into three sections. In the large central portion is a vibrantly colored marsh full of birds. Encroaching from the sides are threatening black-and-white images of industrial development, pollution, and the destruction of civilization by war. Sponsored and commissioned by SPARC.
