Come and explore The Gabba Arts District with a Mural Tour on 04/11/15 (11:00am). Guided & created by Isabel Rojas-Williams the executive director of MCLA & Jason Ostro, The Gabba Gallery director (who has led the creation of the murals) will share dozens of murals recently created by emerging artists to beautify and stimulate a healing process to the social distresses their community has faced. Some of the muralists will speak about their murals & the awareness this project has built for them and the community, while helping to regain LA’s title as one of the mural capitals of the world. The mural tour will end at Gabba Gallery to view the current exhibition, which echoes what’s going on in the Alley. Join us to learn about LA's newest murals, followed by viewing artworks at the gallery while enjoying refreshments! This is a walking tour that lasts 1-1/2hrs, so wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water. FREE for existing MCLA members, non-members can sign-up for $20 at:www.muralconservancy.org/store (Click on the "Donate" button). Please RSVP to: jbarnes@muralconservancy.org. We Look Forward to Seeing you There!
