Description / Interpretation:

"The title, "Resurrect", meaning, restore to life. I got the inspiration from reading a little over 100 pages from the script play called,  "Seed, A Weird Act Of Faith," created for Cornerstone Theatre Company. It was inspired by the community of South Los Angeles, Urban Farming/Farmers. It was then, I began to do some research on the South Central LA Farm Documentary title "Oasis in a Concrete Dessert." Their farm was considered one of the largest farms in the USA, that was destroyed to build Warehouses. It was located on 41st and Alameda in South Central LA.  Together, both, The Play and the documentary gave birth to the idea for the creation of this mural." - Noni Olabisi.
