Erté deGarces is a Pasadena native who has recently moved back to the Los Angeles area from the East coast. He received his BA in photography at Cal State Los Angeles, an MFA in New Media Arts at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, and is finishing an MS in art history from Pratt as well. His focus at The Mural Conservancy is to research and archive the murals in Los Angeles.
