Description / Interpretation:

In the center is a youth with arms outstretched, being pulled in two directions. On one side is death, the dangerous outcome of choosing involvment in drugs or gangs. On the other side are his parents offering love and support. The mural was originally done for a television after-school special about gangs directed by Jesus Trevino.
