Vignettes showing the unhappiness and destruction caused by alcoholism are portrayed in shades of brown and black on the mural's left and right sides. In the middle, an international family holds hands amidst a brlghtly colored, optimistic landscape. The bottom carries the words, The Courage to Change the Things We Can."
