Tribute to the Chinese experienceof immigration to the United States through various cultural images, such as the Great Wall of China, Golden Gate Bridge in San Fransisco, the mythical Gold Mountain, and the phoenix, which represents reincarnation. The three major Chinese characters translate to "together we can build a better community."
