An urban landscape that combines scenes from the mission days in the foreground with segments of a more contemporary downtown skyline. An earlier mural at this site was done in mosaic in 1968 by José-Luis Gonzalez, who also did marble statues here. When an earthquake damaged the original mural, the priest decided to replace the mosaic with a painted version.
