Description / Interpretation:
Large portrait of Jim Morrison, who was the lead singer of the rock music group The Doors until his death at age 27 in 1971. Morrison grew up in L.A. and spent time in Venice. Sponsored and commisioned by David Dror. The rest of the building was recently painting with vignettes of palm trees and ferris wheels. Photo © Ian Robertson-Salt
