Description / Interpretation:
9 panels. Dedicated to the Japanese Americans of the Harbor District, this mural reflects their immigration experience, their little-known agriculture and industrial fishing contributions, their unjust treatment during World War II, their re-assimilation back into society, the cultural and martial arts classes offered at the center, and an "Odon Odori" dance of "Life and Harmony."
