Description / Interpretation:
"This mural was created in response to recent gang violence that occurred near the Pico Union Housing Corporate office. It was commissioned by the PUHC/Graff Lab and my intention was to send the message to bring peace to the community. The releasing of doves symbolizes peace and each dove is carrying the message in English and Spanish, 'Bring Peace to Your Community/Traiga Paz a Su Comunidad'." - Carlos Chavez.
