Sandy Bleifer is a southern California native. She studied art and classical music at the University of California, Los Angeles (B.A. Fine Arts 1962). For many years she has been active as an artist-in-residence in local schools, and is the co-author of teaching materials on art appreciation. Her own work currently centers on collages using handmade papers, art papers, and commercial papers. She lives in Venice, California. (Source: Robin K.
