Peter Quezada graduated at Los Angeles City College and worked at a local bank for 10 years prior to becoming interest in murals. In 1978, he started cleaning up graffiti and in 1986, he formed Neighborhoods for Peace, a counseling program. In 1988, he began creating murals and taught himself how to draw.
