(born 1952): Bowerman studies advertising design and commercial art at Los Angeles Valley College, earning an AA degree in 1973. From 1974 until 1996 he worked for Mark Goodson Productions, starting as a production assistant and later working as an associate producer and as an artistic and technical consultant. He is also a founding member of the Mural Conservancy of Los Angeles. In addition to murals, Bowerman does welded steel and stone sculpture, paintings on canvas, and pencil drawings. His work has been exhibited at several local galleries. He lives in Arleta in the San Fernando Valley
