Garcia studied at California State University, Northridge, Los Angeles City College, and the University of Southern California (M.F.A. 1992). Her work has been exhibited in group shows thoughout southern California, as well as in Texas and Mexico. She has taught and lectured extensively on art in different cultures.  (Robin K.
