Georges Le Chevallier had his first major solo exhibition over twenty years ago, and since then his art works – including murals, paintings, prints, site specific installations, and photographs –have been exhibited extensively in distinguished galleries and museums throughout the United States, as well as in Japan, France, Spain, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Chile, Canada, and Hungary. He has also curated and organized many successful gallery exhibitions, produced an art documentary, and teaches drawing, painting, design and art history at the University level. Le Chevallier was born in Paris, France and grew up in Puerto Rico. His family moved to Los Angeles, California when he was a teenager, and he has since lived in Madrid, Spain, New York City, where he received his MFA in painting at Hunter College, and currently lives in North Carolina.
