(born 1937): This Santa Monica native studied art at the University of California, Los Angeles (MA 1964), with Stanton Macdonald Wright and William Brice. He also spent time in Mexico learning to work with ceramics and tile. He taught at California State University, Sacramento, and the University of California, San Diego, beofre joining the faculty at the University of California, Santa Cruz, in 1972. His studio work has been exhibited in solo and group shows nationwide.
