Kristy Lovich is a Los Angeles based inter-disciplinary artist whose work explores how power, identity, and creativity impact the human experience, bridging the deeply personal to the political. Through mixed media, installation, performance and painting, Kristy uses her individual creative process in partnership with collective co-creating to articulate conflict and construct new visual languages that hold the potential to foster transformative cultural movements. In addition to her work as an artist, for the last ten years Kristy has been a part of multiple community based art education and activism projects with youth and families throughout Los Angeles. Kristy lives and works in Boyle Heights, California and is currently pursuing an Bachelor’s of Fine Arts at Art Center College of Design.
